Autoglym Air-Con Cleaner is a long lasting treatment that you use to treat and clean your vehicle’s air conditioning system, and help overcome bad odours that can linger in the air conditioner.
The simple “start, lock and leave” application will clean the entire air conditioning system in under 20 minutes.
How to use
- Aerosol should be warmed to room temperature before use
- Ensure all windows and doors are closed and start the engine
- Switch on the air conditioning system and ensure that it is set to low temperature, with medium fan and select internal circulation so that you are circulating the air in the car
- Ensure face level fascia vents are open.
- Run the engine with air conditioning on for 5-10 minutes before the next step.
- Before using the product, make sure you shake the aerosol can for a few seconds
- Fold in the perforated panels of the carton and place the aerosol can at a 40 degree angle
- Position the carton quite far forward in the passenger side footwell and leave the aerosol facing into the footwell.
- Depress the trigger on top of the can into the lock-down position.
- Exit vehicle and close doors.
- Once the can is fully discharged, allow the system to run for a further 5 minutes then switch off the engine and open all doors/windows fully to ventilate the vehicle.
- Leave doors/windows open and allow the vehicle to air for 5-10 minutes.
Hot tip – Avoid pointing the aerosol at the carpet.
Pro tip
Re-treat the vehicle every six months, or after extended periods of not using your air conditioner.
