Polished surfaces benefit from a protective wax coating. use on any deteriorated bright work including hubcaps, grilles, door handles, wheels, forks, hubs & castings, on cars, motorcycles, boats, aircraft & caravans.
Autoglym Metal Polish is a fast acting compound that will remove tarnishing from brass, copper, stainless steel, chrome, aluminium and un-lacquered aluminium alloys leaving them gleaming.
Once polished, these surfaces can be further protected with a wax or sealant.
Pro Tip: Do not use Metal Polish on modern chromed plastics, lacquered alloy wheels, mirror finished metals or chrome plate in new condition as these surfaces are softer. Use Super Resin Polish on these surfaces instead.
How to use
1. Apply a small amount of Metal Polish to a soft cloth and polish back and forth.
2. As the metal is cleaned there may be a black build-up which can be buffed away with a clean Microfibre cloth.
3. Increase the pressure used to polish over stubborn deposits.
