Autoglym Paint Renovator is the product to use for serious paint restoration work
Important information – The use of any abrasive on car paintwork should be avoided if at all possible. Try Autoglym Super Resin Polish first as it may rectify the problem with less effort. If more aggressive treatment is required. Paint Renovator contains exceptionally fast acting abrasives to give a rapid cutting and polishing action.
Areas treated with Paint Renovator should then be re-polished with Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
Note: Paint Renovator is suitable for hand use but should not be applied by machine.
Pro Tip: If your scratch is so deep that metal or grey primer can be seen you’re going to need to repair that by repainting the area or further damage could occur, such as rust or further loss of paint. Paint Renovator is silicone free and will not interfere with repainting.
How to use
1. Always attempt to restore finish with Super Resin Polish first.
2. Shake well and apply to a cool, clean, dry surface with a soft cotton cloth or Perfect Palm Applicator using parallel strokes. Increase the pressure to remove specific scratches or stains. Decrease pressure to improve surface gloss. Check repair progress regularly.
3. Remove residue with a clean cloth. Finally, polish with Super Resin Polish to maximise gloss, to preserve the unprotected surface and remove any remaining marks.
